I had been studying for this test for two weeks. I`m poor at remembering dates in history, so I had to jog my memory. As if this weren`t enough, my uncle had gone to Turkey on holiday and he asked me to look after his flat. I was at the end of my tether.

The day before the exam, I decided to spend the night at my uncle`s flat.

"Veronica decides to die"- a review

A novel „Veronica decides to die” is written by Paulo Coelho. I read it during summer, when I was at a lower-secondary school. Recently a film based on the book started to be shown in cinemas.
The main character is Veronica- a young girl who tries to commit a suicide. She wakes up in an elitist hospital in Ljubljana.

"Wesele"- a review of a Polish drama

A drama „Wesele” is written by Stanislaw Wyspianski. I read it about a month ago because it was necessary for my Polish lessons. The drama is very often shown in theatres.
The story is set in a village Bronowice near Cracow. The plot centres on a wedding of a man who represents intelligentsia and a woman who is a peasant.
