In my opinion telly is one of the biggest inventions in history. It changed many lifes, especially when internet wasn’t so universal. A lot of people turn into Cable Guys (telemaniak) as Jim Carrey.
So firstly, as I said, it has a negative influence on children’s growing up process, because it consist of many brutal scenes. Secondly I think that television hasn’t got anything interesting to offer us. Stupid reality shows like Big Brother or something like that is at least embarrassing. One positive side of telly I find in education programs and news.
If I had to pay for extra cable tv I wouldn’t even ask for it, because all programs that appears in our television have already been in USA or wherever.
